Hi, I’m Liane Hoskyns-Brown MCIM, founder of LHB Marketing, freelance marketing consultant and proud marketing geek!
My love affair with marketing began over 14 years ago at Balmain Hair Couture. Balmain Hair UK was a UK-wide company promoting a huge high-end hair fashion brand with a marketing team of two. I started as a marketing executive and worked my way up to Marketing Manager, with 7 years spent running the marketing department.
With everything kept in-house and a culture deeply rooted in education, it was the best kind of learning ground. While there, I threw myself into every course I could, from Marketing and Digital Marketing with the Chartered Institute of Marketing, to SEO, email marketing, web design, HTML coding, social media, branding and graphic design. If there was something to learn, I was on it! I’ll always be grateful for that chapter, it gave me a deep, hands-on understanding of every area of marketing and lit the fire that still fuels me today.
Our small in-house team created stunning sales supports materials for our field and telesales department, managed our e-commerce store, social media, influencer marketing, paid social campaigns, advertising, retail pop-ups, events and exhibitions.
In 2023, I took the leap and launched LHB Marketing to work as a freelance marketing consultant, helping SME’s and start-ups ignite their marketing. I’ve had the privilege of working with some truly brilliant brands across a range of industries. Whether I’m acting as a freelance in-house marketing manager, a marketing consultant, or helping in a specific area such as social media, I bring the same energy, care and strategic thinking to every client. I love helping businesses grow, easing the pressure and becoming a trusted extension of their team.
Based in sunny Brighton on the south coast, I have helped local companies and UK wide brands.
